Book Covers project

We were assigned to make three book cover jackets for a book of our choice and I chose Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. I chose this book because it was one of the few book I read in school and actually was interested in and understood. The mystery of a future where books are banned and a fireman still has the guts to put it all on the line to see how the world really is fascinates me.

I tried going simple as a first draft with a fireman looking down at a fire but just looking at it because that's pretty much what Guy Montag did.

For my second draft I tried to stay with the idea of simple and used the mechanical dog from the story, I had Photoshoped the dog and then made the rest of the cover in matching colors to make it look nice.

My final draft , I got the idea is stepping up a little from simple but not too much and wanted a silhouette of a fireman because they had no knowledge of anything from real world so they really weren't doing any good for people.
